Good Points: Great fashion
General comments: I felt that the Zara I visited lacked customer service. They would not hold some things I purchased so I could do more shopping - I spent over $300.They would not call another store to find something for me. They would not let me do a charge and send so I could save time and money on gasI was not approached by the two sales people and I was the only customer in the store for over 45 minutes at the time until I asked about sizes they didn't have. I felt the sales people were not friendly or approachable. In a period of falling sales and a flagging economy when there are so many choices for places to spend my money I think they should have something else to offer besides fashion to keep the customer happy. I shopped this store in LV and the sales help was much nicer.

The clothes have a very good quality and they last for ages. Also the layout of the shop is good.
I love zara and shop there all the time especially for basic clothing.

Zara clothes are sophisticated and nice for children. Aswell as this, I like the service and the capacity of the stores, because the service is quick and polite and there is never a wild herd of people charging at each other like other shops. It is safe and calm.
I feel Zara is a exceptionally good store, however I feel it should work on my included bad points and improve them.
Overall I give ZARA a 6.4/10

Has to be one of my top favourite shops in the high street.
I recommend people to shop there, especially if they want to stay on top of the fashion trend or at least to get some ideas and good quality pieces to put your own style together.

I used to be a regular shopper at Zara however I will never shop at zara again. I found some of the staff I dealt with to seem rude to me, and the quality of the clothes to be poor. I recently bought a coat at full price at zara watford and found seams and stitches coming out. When I went back to the shop to check other jackets so I could get a better one I was rather disappointed to find that all the items available appeared to have faults! When I asked the sales person to get me another from a ...

I have visited many of ZARA shops and found clothing ranges to be fairly within my taste. Every time one thing lets ZARA stores DOWN and that is the QUALITY of the product. I recently visited ZARA shop and picked out four items (which was NOT on any promotions) with every intention of buying, but I came out of the shop with one item. In the store I found three(75%) of the items to be faulty. Certain Items were so bad, my friend asked me "Are we in one of their factory outlet store?" Buying o ...

After having been a loyal shopper to Zara for 4 years, I will never purchase their clothing again. I've never been especially impressed by the quality of their clothing, but I like their fashions. I've purchased quite a few items that did not hold up well, even though I handwash them and never put them in the dryer. Also, they finding my size in their clothing is not always easy.
However, when I was England earlier this month, I purchased a coat which I wore 3 times during that trip. The mornin ...

Zara had a particularly nice jacket which I really wanted but found that there was no way of finding out where to get one in my my size. I had to phone around every store near me in the North West. I asked the Head Office in London if there was any way they could check their stock and tell me where the jacket was available countrywide (not too much to ask in a computerised/bar coded/central buying office company?) and I would travel to that store. 'Oh no, we can't do that' they said and appare ...

I really regret I bought this Zara jean. model 007, straight fit cut. After about 1 week later and I'm ready to wear it. Looks great but when I was about to sit (to wear shoes) I heard a 'crack torn sound'. I cant believe it... that this pair of new jeans had torn at minimal point of stress. It left a gaping hole at the back. I thought jeans are supposed to be tough. This is the 1st jeans in my entire life that it seemingly got torn by itself. Could it be the material - irregular yarn? I think t ...

WOW! I love Zara and as a 5'10" female it is great to find pants long enough. I've been devoted shopper of Zara for many many years... about 14yrs if I had to guess. They are always on the cutting edge of fashion at a great price.
If you are a small framed leggy girl like myself... I think you would LOVE the cut and designs found at this amazing retailer

The main bad point that stands out to me is the sizing. They have a great range, but the sizing is really the poorest I have ever seen. For suits for example, I am a Medium 38 chest, and 32 regular trousers. They have had in stock several suits which I was never able to buy, as they did not have them in my size. Which is bizzare as I am the average size for a man. However, this is not loss to me, as the loss goes to Zara who missed out on several sales.Another issue relating to the lack of sizes ...

styles of clothes and shoes at Zara are very good but I feel they are of disappointing quality. they don't seem to last me for long not even a month most of the times. i used to be a big fan and very often buy zara products but now i buy lots from gap and topman.
i live in high wycombe and the zara i used to go to was at eden shopping center. i must also say here that I find the staff there to be seemingly unhelpful and stubborn. i disagree with zara returns policy, they don't give money back a ...

I found a jacket I really wanted but every single one had at least two buttons missing. I thought it was just the way they sewed them on because a friend kept insisting the quality of the clothes were great. I then saw a pair of really nice trousers and grabbed them to inspect them. I looked at the crotch area and tugged on it a little and the seam appeared to come apart. That has never happened to me before. Almost every item I looked at had something missing or the seams coming apart. I am di ...

Zara have clothes for every occasion and their designs can compete with top designers and they sell them for much better prices. I am a loyal zara fan and I have never been disappointed. I know that the quality might not be the best but it's not the worst either and they look great.

I love the clothes at Zara but have been disappointed in the quality of late. I have had a few items that haven't weathered well (in the past Zara clothes have lasted very well). I also find the size variations a bit frustrating.

I've been a Zara fan for more years than I care to remember, but the honeymoon's over. There's been a marked deterioration in the quality of the materials used and the finishing especially. Astonishingly, of the 12 items I took into the changing rooms, 3 zips were broken, the stiching on a belt was loose and uneven and there were missing buttons on 2 of the blouses. A bad day? I don't think so. Quality wise, things haven't been the same in Zara for some time now. There's often a discrepancy in t ...

I have seen shoes for £55 in the UK, the same shoes for 55 euros in Belgium, I've also seen trousers priced the same way. It begs the question is this a deliberate pricing policy?

I get all my basics and often the most exciting parts of my wardrobe from Zara - when a shop can carry out both of these functions, I think it has got it right.
