Good Points

Improved high tempo gameplay, high quality graphics, betting shooting, manual passing, better player awareness, player jostleling, better and realistic goalkeepers and goal celebrations.

Bad Points

Not much too dislike. Perhaps the tackling at times can be hard too master and the ref is perhaps too picky over fair challenges. I'm having to pick at bones to find any negatives. Having to purchase 5 other leagues for live season.

General Comments

I'm only basing my review upon the demo which was released this month. I was so excited about playing the demo and it exceeded my high expectations. I am a keen fifa fan who has bought every fifa since 2001 and a keen pro evo fan but this is the best sports game i have ever played. there is a continous flow about the game and a high tempo speed which is so similar to the premiership. the passing is better and is manual with the power bar and the shooting is alot better with lobs alot better to control its not easy but its great when you have mastered the angles and timing, and the odd shots which we see in real life where players hit the ball with the outside of the boot is a fanstastic feeling to master. on the demo i use chelsea the most as players like ballack lampard and essien dominate midfield and the power of drogba up front and the effiencey of terry and ricardo carvalho are just how they play in real life. all the physical attributes are spot on. skill moves are great once you have tried them and know them. and the of the ball physical battles is great to watch and use. the best thing about this is its a demo and the real game is its going to be slightly better and you will be able to use all the teams not just chelsea, milan, real madrid, marsaile (spelt wrong), shalke and toronto. also im especially excited about playing fifa online, not just the ranked matches but also the 10vs10 and creating your own team with other people which will be ranked in leagues. also the adidas live season is a great idea but im not totally keen about having to buy a couple of other leagues online. it should be all free, well im only going to pick the english premiership as my trial which lasts until may 09.
i would say to keen fifa fans that fifa 09 will blow your mind away it has improved emensely and even hardcore pro evo fans should consider fifa after pes 2008 was a bit naf. i would recommend this game to any footy fan. it might be £40 but for the 12 months we have it for it is a brilliant game. i would say that is best to read the infomation about fifa in the wkipedia or official reviews. if anyone has read this i thank them and i hope i might play you online sometime when fifa 09 is available on the xbox 360 - 3/10/09.
