A real shame.
I've been a Zara fan for more years than I care to remember, but the honeymoon's over. There's been a marked deterioration in the quality of the materials used and the finishing especially. Astonishingly, of the 12 items I took into the changing rooms, 3 zips were broken, the stiching on a belt was loose and uneven and there were missing buttons on 2 of the blouses. A bad day? I don't think so. Quality wise, things haven't been the same in Zara for some time now. There's often a discrepancy in the sizing too. Such a shame because the styling is spot on most of the time. However I just won't pay what they're asking if they're not producing quality finishing. One of their mantras was that their quality was good because most of the goods were made in Spain and not in some sweatshop. They simply can't say this any more, the clothes don't stand up.
